We really enjoy going to the Flying Dish in Fairfield with our daughter Sarah. She just loves the children's macaroni and cheese and we love all the wonderful healthy choices on the menu. Flying Dish also features foods from around the world. It is very fun for our family to try new dishes from other countries. I recently met a Vietnamese man who had just moved to the area. He cooked our family a wonderful Vietnamese meal. We loved the food so much that we looked for a local Vietnamese restaurant. We found Pho Mekong located at 1849 Post Road in Westport 255-2748. We have become huge fans of this restaurant. We have not eaten in but have taken out many times. Your new Vietnamese friend has been there too and says it is authentic, just like home! P.S. Our 7 year old daughter enjoys the food too!

I took a trip down memory lane today and went to a restaurant that I always loved when I lived in the Danbury area. It still is as wonderful as I remember. I still crave their wonderful salads from years ago. I satisfyed my craving with a seame seed salad and grilled salmon that was seved with fresh vegetables and brown rice. It was fabulous! The menu offers many tasty choices. The atmosphere is eclectic, cozy and charming.
